South Jersey Canoe Club
The South Jersey Canoe Club is an informal canoe club
sharing the common interest of Pineland or Pine Barrens canoeing. This club collects no dues and assumes no responsibility for anyone joining us on our trips. Everyone must recognize the risk that exists for personal injury, and/or property damage or loss and understand that each person is responsible for his or her own safety.
Not a wildwater club, just a winding thru the pines throughout the year club.
NOTE: The law requires a life preserver for each person in a canoe. The group
requires a complete change of clothing in a waterproof container, including
spare shoes (old sneakers) along with lunch and a beverage. At least one person
must be experienced on South Jersey (winding) streams. Some instruction available.
NOTE: All area codes are 609 unless otherwise noted.
NOTE: Meeting time at 9 am means that we shuttle at that time. Please allow adequate time to unload your boat and gear.
NOTE: In case of inclement weather (including drought!), call trip leaders to check trip status.

Some other Pine Barren Paddling Links:
A real important one if you don't have a canoe and need to rent, you'll
still need to arrange shuttling since most rental places don't serve trip
regions above. Shuttling a canoe doesn't require much special equipment,
less than $30 should handle what is needed for your own canoe carrying set
up along with a non pristine vehicle. Check out any good outdoor/camping
supply houses for foam block canoe carriers. You can rent the canoes here:
