DSL DirectDial Backup Service
In the unlikely event that your DSL service requires
maintenance or upgrade, or is interrupted due to fire, flood or
other natural disaster, ETI provides you with a backup DirectDial account.
To access your backup account, simply remove your phone
cord from the DSL router, attach one of the line filters provided
for this purpose to the line, and plug the cord with filter into
the outgoing port on your conventional modem, usually located on
the back of your Computer. (When you return to using the router, remember
to remove the line filter.)
You will then be ready to set up a dial up connection
to your account, following the instructions in the Dial Up Set-Up
section of ETI's Help Desk Online. The
username@eticomm.net and password for your backup DirectDial account will be the
same as for your main DSL account.
If you encounter problems while accessing your backup
account, or while returning your DSL router to use, please contact
